Long time since my last b&w post and about a month since my last photo from Istanbul. So, I decided to go for this one. Just a daily life scene, from the beautiful fountain of Yeni Camii (the New Mosque).

Hercules,

A nice symmetry - rather complimented bythe unusual, inward looking figures, engrossed in their own activities and spaces. Here,this probably functions as daily life, elsewhere, the image akes on a surreal and mysterious quality.

Hi Hercules, it must be a night for symmetry as I've seem so many beautiful shots of this ilk. And yours is one of the best I've seen. No es frecuente ver una foto en blanco y negro dentro de tu magnifico porfolio y esta no hay dudas que llena todas las perspectivas, impresionante arquitectura captada con muy buenos detalles y definicion. Muy buen manejo de la iluminacion.

Τέλεια ισορροπημένο κάδρο που σε τραβά λόγω του ασπρόμαυρου στο παρελθόν. Ψεγάδι της σύγχρονης τεχνολογίας παραβλέπεται από θέληση για διατήρηση της ατμόσφαιρας.
Η κάθετη επιλογή ενισχύει την ούτως ή άλλως θρησκευτική χροιά της εικόνας. Το βλέμμα έτσι οδηγείται χωρίς αντίσταση στον ουρανό. Εκεί που το Θείο ανέκαθεν κατοικούσε, ανεξαρτήτως θρησκείας.
Η ταπεινοφροσύνη επιβάλλει το κεφάλι σκυφτό μέσα σε σκέψεις. Η κάθαρση αναγκαία για συνέχεια με θάρρος για ζωή τωρινή μα και μελλοντική!

Εξαιρετική τονική διαβάθμιση , καλοζυγισμένο καντράρισμα αλλά και η σωστή επιλογή του χρόνου λήψης, η φωτογραφία σου φίλε μου "έπιασε" πραγματικά την ιερότητα της συγκεκριμένης στιγμής.
Μου αρέσει η ελαφριά κίτρινη απόχρωση που της έδωσες.
