Photographer’s Note
Zahara is one of the most spectacular of Andalusia's pueblo blancos (white towns).
Set high on a hill above a brilliantly blue artificial lake it is also just below a peak with castle.
Sensibly they don't let visitors drive through all the streets so you park down low and the climb up a series of steep steps to get to the old town where you find beautiful old streets , cafes (some quite fancy and expensive) but also good local bars for some tapas and a decent beer to reward you after the climb.

G'Day Ian, Fantastic landscape shot. Colours are great. Thanks for the good note. Are those olive trees on the hills to the right and behind the town/s? By the way, you might have a few rewarding beers after the climb - but what about traversing the steps down after a beverage or two :(( Cheers, Graham.

G'day Ian!
Beautiful Andalusia - one of the few areas I missed out on visiting 40 years ago, when we used to holiday in Spain regularly. And now your great images are reminding me I should perhaps make the effort to see it all again. You've captured the essence of Spain in this scene - well done. Only one minor comment: maybe a polarizing filter would've enhanced this pic and others - try evaluating Nik Color Efex Pro (https://www.niksoftware.com/site/)
Best wishes,
Jeff
