This is the island of Lavezzi. A protected area that is paradise of wind, sand, granite and all the possible colors of the sea.
The picture is taken from a high block of granite.

This is such beautiful scenery. I love the way the water curves around the sand bank and the interesting forms of the boulders. The colour of the water is stunning and the bonus are the people playing with their towels - so original.

A very well composed picture of a special place at the coast. The bluegreen water at different sides of the hugh rocks and the curve around the sandy beach make the photo very attractive.

Wow! Do places like this really exist?!!

Your composition is excellent, blending a rich array of shapes and textures with an equally diverse and appealing palette. The two human subjects create a superb focal point.

The only small detail I find distracting is what appears to be a corner of a building (?) in the upper left corner. Without this, it would be perfect! And even as it is, the photo is really superb!

Beautiful scenary ... blue ocean, sand beach, and 2 people which help to imagine the size of rocks. They also bring eye cathing colour towel (it would be more interesting if they bring red one)

Hello Stefano,

I am happy to see this photo because I was on the Lavezzi one year ago with a sailing trip along the Corsica coasts.
As usual a very efficient composition using well the different elements inside the frame (except the lighthouse a bit crop in the top corner).
The 2 peoples are the cherry on the cake. They are giving life and scale inside an already nice landscape.

It's getting strange - the number of times I clicked on interesting thumbnails lately which have turned out to be photographs of Corse!!! Again and again. I think I need to start planning!

This one certainly does nothing to disuade me - another incredible slice of coastline - and, of couse, a great photograph to show it off.

not a bad place to have some rest Marcello !
I like the 2 blue colors of the sea almost exactly matched by the colors of the towels waved by the kids. Even the the bathsuits are in harmony !

A nice and luminous image of this paradise on Earth, the beach so empty looks faily exclusive (and it is !) and the water curving around the people is very nice

Hi Stefano,

What a great shot. I first went to Lavezzi in the late 70's and it was like an island paradise. When I went a few years ago it was a lot busier, and not as I remembered.

Like I said a wonderful photo and reminds me of how I remember Lavezzi.

I just discovered this one amongst your recent gallery. I love the way the beach curves around so sharply, and the presence of the two young people with their towels. Beautiful colours, great luminosity, lovely composition. Like so many other photos from Corsica, it makes me really keen to visit the island.

On a de la peine à s'imaginer que de tels paysages puissent exister. La photo est superbe avec des couleurs magnifiques. En plus ce n'est pas la cohue, deux baigneurs seulement pour profiter de ce paradis.
