Photographer’s Note

...had to go on with the "turkish bath" concept... not from syria, but from bodrum, turkey, this time...

...this is the dome of the old turkish bath in the castle of the knights of st.john, from outside of course... the bath is not in use anymore, but a part of the bodrum museum of underwater archeology... those round thick glasses are for the daylight to go through without showing the bathers inside... and the shadow is mine of course, reaching out for one! >:D...

"...all in all it's just another boob on the wall..." lol...

you may check the workshop to see the old turkish bath in the citadel of aleppo, syria, to demonstrate the dome, an oil painting from inside of a hammam, and two alternative boob shots from aleppo again...

This is a very funny - and original - scene! I've never seen a dome quite like this before. Do all of the baths have similar structures, or was this just particular to the one in Bodrum? I like the shadow reaching out to "touch" the giant boob!! A very entertaining composition! :-)

Good morning! You may continue with your Turkish Bath concept :))) This IS great stuff, you have all the ideas, when most stand there scratching their head how to present this dome, you find your own solution. Love how the "shadow" plays with this glass thing, reaching for it and holding it. The orange white paint has a good energy for me, it is somehow so beautiful. Love it, really special. That's strange, mysterious, attractive by its colors and textures. The play with the shadow is an excellent idea and creates a confusion between illusion and reality that I like very much. The saturation is very good too and the tight frame, is successfull pushing us into the abstraction.

Küçük fotoğrafa baktığım zaman ampul değiştiren adam zannettim. Gerek başlığı, gerek görüntüsüyle yine son derecede yaratıcı ve mizah dolu bir kare olmuş.

WS kısmına dört fotoğraf kon ulabiliyormuş demek. Ben hep iki fotoğraf konulabiliyor diye biliyordum.

safranboluda artik kullanışlmayan eski turk hamamini tek basima gezerken o kubbeleri ve iceri sizan isiga bayilmistim.. biri daha olsaydi keske dedim gezerken bos bos keyif vermedi cekmek.. senin gibi yapip golgemi cekseymisim keske:) bu da harika olmus.. uzay boslugunda gezegenlere dokunur gibi..

pek fark eden olmamış ama fotonun fikri kadar ismi de hoşuma gitti :)) referansın tam senlik, anlık ve muzip bir çağrışım olduğu o kadar belli ki, gerçekleşme süreci bile gözümün önüne geliyor: çekim yaparken "boobs on the wall" demişsindir, sonra kısık gözlerle laptop ekranına bakarken birden "another boob on the wall" ve hemen akabinde pink floyd gelmiştir :))

ps: ben de kafa gölgeni tanır oldum artık. sanırım kuzey'in kafası da böyle gölge edecek memelere...

Ben de tüm iyi niyetimle size ayakkabımı göstermiştim, insan uyarır “Ayağın yerden kesilecek, düşebilirsin, dikkat et” diye… Varsa yoksa “iyi düşün, çok düşün”… Neyse canım her şey bir yana, son fotoğrafınla galerinin kavuştuğu eski hava bir yana... Gerçekleşme sürecine bir eklenti de benden; fotoğrafı eklerken şarkıyı mırıldanmış bile olabilirsin. Git dinlen, yeni şiirler asortik şarkılarla dön, daha çok işimiz var ne de olsa! LoL!

Küçük fotoda ne olduğunu anlamaya çalıştım, böyle galaksilerde dolaşan bir uzaylı falan gibi geldi önce. Sonra da dedim ki kendi kendime; "Bu bir bostankorkuluğu yapımı fotodur ve mutlaka bir sürprizi vardır!" Tıkladım: E tabii ki yanılmamışım.

Cannot, but not smile! The WS sare excellent providing lot of info about the baths & the boobs as well. But the idea of the man's shadow is simply great! The strong saturated colurs, though sparse, adds much to the beauty! Another fine creative work!

Senin arkaplanda kirmizi bir fon, onde golgen...ya buyuk kureler ya da elips formlarin oldugu bir karen vardi TE'ye daha once yukledigin. Cok sevdigim bir kareydi o. Bu kareye de kendi acimi katarim demissin:):):)
Nefis oglun terrible two donemini atlatmistir diye tahmin ediyorum. Gerci o three, four, five diye devam ediyor...

İlginç. Gözlerimi kısarak baktığımda daha hoşuma gitti yalnız. Bir ressam işi gibi göründü hatta. Renkler çok güzel. Zemin olan yüzeyin özelliği, birbirine benzeyen şekiller ve insan figürü hep artıya dönüşmüş. Hoş olmuş.
