Photographer’s Note

The only lake in the island of Crete, lake Kourna. I was drinking my coffee, when I took a series of shots that I later stitch them together to make the panorama you see. Don't forget to check the large version.

Amazing colour indeed! This deep blue and emerald green have really splendid impact. The large version seen on 1920x1200 monitor is really overwhelming. It's truly amazing.

A magnificent panorama of the lake and its surroundings, made special by the diffeent blue and green tones of the water. I hope this is not a case of abnormal algae growth ?

One of the most scenic lakes ever seen. What a colour palette! It creates an unique environment and atmosphere, a real marvel of nature. Great sharpness and brilliance.

Τα χρώματα της λίμνης είναι το κάτι άλλο.
Πολλές λεπτομέρειες και πολύ καλή συρραφή, στην μεγάλη.
