Photographer’s Note

Cul-de-sac in the city of Tarnów. On the right: Mikolajowski House, one of the oldest preserved buildings, erected right by the city wall at the western side of the Cathedral, in the second half 15th century. In 1524 it was rebuilt and refurbished in the Gothic-Renaissance style.

A refreshing sight of the cool snow, on a hot & humid summer's day in Korea. The curving perspective of the cobblestone street adds superb lead in lines. Good sharpness & diffused light. Tfs!

Szkoda, ze niebo sie tego dnia nie usmiechnelo i na gorze nic sie nie dzieje, mleko, ale musze przyznac, ze kompozycyjka jest przednia, ciekawe miejsce pokazujesz, warte tego, zeby wyjac aparat nawet, gdy pogoda marna.

Wlasciwie jest to bardzo dobra fotografia, wcale nie zaleca sie oryginalnym tematem, ani ekstrawaganckimi kolorkami, jest porzadna fotka ze spaceru po miescie w niezbyt dobra pogode.

dear Jan,
this is very cool now in mid summer here.
well composed houses and beautifully curved street,
and the center lamp is best accent in whole image.
white snow on the roof and ground gives me really cold feeling, it is comfortable so much.

bello scorcio cittadino dal sapore tutto invernale, reso tale soprattutto dalla presenza della neve sulla strada e sui tetti.
La lunga strada in curva, invita il nostro sguardo a seguirla, movimentando così la scena, rendendola anche dinamica e dando anche un buon DOF.

Gosh such towns are a photographic golgmine. Also, I have a soft spot for those old lamps and this picture, with it and the snow, works so well with the tones and architecture.
