Photographer’s Note
Hallo again everyone. Today I would like to continue presenting the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This time one of my favourite views - The Storr over Loch Fada. As you can see the water is very still, all is calm, sheep in the foreground quietly munches the grass. The pillar of the Old Man of Storr can hardly be seen through the clouds covering the mountain. I have another picture made on the next day, which was very windy and surface of the Loch looks very different, all dark.

Hello Michal
And welcome on TE ! Your first 3 shots are really interesting. The striking quality is promising ;o)
The landscape here is breathking and you've chosen a perfect vertical format to enhance it.
The diffuse light is perfectly handled, colours are bright and natural, and the reflection of the mountain is a great surprise.
The sheep at the foreground adds life to the scene, ver well thought.
A quiet atmosphere.

Karine

Hi Michal,
Welcome to TE!
Well composed and beautiful/peaceful landscape!
A sheep at the foreground gives good effect in the whole as well as the shadow of hill/sky. And, I like soft and getle color tone. I keep yearning to such scenery in the Highland area. If I say the desire a little technically, it's better to increase shadow/highlight in the whole a bit. I tried a workshop though you just participated in TE. Sorry! Yet, this is my personal taste and I hope that you don't mind.
Thanks for sharing!

Well done and thanks for reminding me.

Hello Michal,
Welcome to TE. This is a very nicely composed shot of this part of Skye on a good day. The soft colors are lovely but I agree with Kato -- her WS just increases the definition enough without altering the atmosphere you captured.
I look forward to seeing the view on the next day. Even though you are limited to one image per day, you can always hyperlink your posts so that viewers are directed to related images.
Thank you for taking me back to Skye where I spent two wonderful weeks hiking and camping decades ago.
Regards,
Mary

Hi Michal,
Good composition. The cute sheep in the foreground adds a good depth of field to the photo. The light is very nice despite the cloudy sky and the reflections are great.

Olivier
