Photographer’s Note

Les Herero forment une des ethnies vivant en Namibie, ils représentent environ 8% de la population, à l'origine c'était essentiellement un peuple d'éleveurs.
Le costume traditionnel de ces femmes est très coloré, grande robe et coiffe surmontée d'un bourrelet horizontal afin d'imiter la forme des cornes des boeufs ...

Tu as bien saisi l'expression pensive de cette femme. Le portrait permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de sa robe et de son couvre-chef. L'image est claire et nette. La lumière met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

I'm always amazed how africaan people can use so many diferent patterns that create a perfet harmony. The cloth of this lady are a good example of it. Also like her expression. You catch it very well.
