Photographer’s Note

Reality Bites... When I walk the streets I see a lot of people sleeping in the streets, with nothing underneath them but just the cold cement.. then I think... what am I complaining about if I do not have the best things in life. While they have nothing... and I pause. I should be thankful for the smallest grace that I receive everyday. Be thankful for everything. And pray that someday I would not see people sleeping in the streets like this..

Hi Arman, another rough, realistic and touching image of yours. Your PP does a lot to emphasize the textures of your subjects.
It's always hard to watch poverty, but you portray it well, which is nice.

Thanks for another window into Manila. The images are storytellers for sure. I wish that more of the world would see reality instead of the sugar coated dream like unreal government sponsored propaganda. Too bad my friend. Thanks for the intense image of reality.

Hi Arman, great great shot and PP to emphasize the subject. This shot is intense, and strong, its telling a story and documenting something that is often overlooked. This is even photojournalism, and i take my hat off to you for documenting something that is often not shown, it isn't all smiles in Manila bay or boracay, and shots bringing people back to reality like this are great, and they also advocate and provoke thought about this.
