I'm back from a wonderful trip to British Columbia, and a much needed break. This shows the beach at Penticton with the Okanagan Lake.

Une vie de rêve pour cet endroit paradisiaque. J'aime beaucoup l'effet des ombres projetées sur le sable.
Les feuillages en avant-plan donnent un effet de relief du meilleur goût.
Une bien belle image pour un bien bel endroit.

beautiful summer mood from this lovely lake. You have captured it in warm light and natural colours. I like the play of light and shadows on the beach and the branches on top of the image. They help to create good depth to your picture. Well done.

It looks like a Mediterranean Beach, so I was surprised to read it is a lake. I particularly like the framing with the leaves and the dappled shadows on the beach.

Hello Karen,
A fine view of this nice and not too crowded beach. It looks very relaxing. What I especially like about the photo and the beach is the shade from the trees, a palce to go if the sun gets too hot.

Hi Karen,
Much different scenery than you are used to on the Great Plains of Alberta.
Beautiful coastal scene shot in warm light that brings tranquil shadows on the beach and vivid colors to sea and sky.

Pretty place Karen, and the shot is nicely done as well, fine shadows and nothing overexposed and the people on the beach give a friendly feel. Great stuff.

A very good division of the frame with color and texture, karen and the whole thing has a lovely mood, because of the light that you have captured, I think.(Canada seems to enjoy such wonderful light, soft, bright but not harsh.) Regards kevin
