Photographer’s Note
I am having a photographer's block I think so I went this morning at dawn to this pond just north of me to see if I could reset my clock so to speak. The lily pads seemed to group to make horizontal lines on the surface which broke up the reflections and because the air is crisp in the morning there was some steam rising from the lake. whether the picture is good or not I certainly felt better...

Hello Greg,
This photo is very strange, mainly because of the reflections on the water like the painting of Monet. It is like sliding from the reality to the dream.
I like a lot the effect.
Yves.

It is a beautiful picture. The reflection looks like from another picture put together to make only one. The colours are very nice and the mood is very serene. Well done.

A fresh and bright photo like the air you can breath in those woods! A well balanced composition with appealing intense colours (the green/blue are fantastic!) and charming reflections. It seems a magic place...
Well done,
Donato
P.S.
I've been in and out too during this summer... and it's not yet over! I'll catch up with TE in October)

hi Greg,
I guess I know almost all there is to know about photographer's block :)
love the light in your photo, the early morning always has this touch of lime green and yellow in the light, as opposed to the fiery red and oranges of the evening light. the almost abstract patterns of trees and their reflections fit the dreamy mood nicely, I can see why you were feeling better :)
best,
Kristine

Hi Greg,
this image really seems to be the illustration of a dream and it looks as if the reflected trees are trying to grow out of the lake. Really a very strange but at the same time amazing impression. I love these deep blue colors and the green a lot. TFS!
Warm regards

Hi Greg
Not a typical reflection scene. The lilypads appearing blue and blocking the reflection is creating an unusual effect. Tfs, Marlene

Hell Greg,
Monet would have been immensely moved by the vision, as we all are. Just a remarkable view with lush vegetation, air of tranquility and solitude. You have presented it well!
Warm regards and enjoy Sunday.

Hi Greg,
This one is magical with the mysterious reflections in the quite pond.
The late summer colors are very intense.
Love the varying shades of lush green.
You must of had a heck of a time resizing these last two postings to fit TE's 300 mg requirement. Green is such a pixel hog.

Hi Greg,
So you found Monet's inspiration and POV. If I were to just focus in on the lily pad and perhaps a little bit higher POV, I would look just like Monet's series of lily donds and reflections. The green is so brilliant with the soft morning light, perhaps still moist with the mist. I'm glad you feel better. This is certainly a lovely and artistic shot. Thanks

Hello Greg,
This is a picturesque place in the forest, peaceful and dominated by the lush vegetation!
The light comes in a fine angle, adding life to the scene and helps creating depth...
I notice the water lilies so I guess there is no use in trying fishing there hehehe..!
Greetings,

Hi Greg, This is a most unusual and very attractive image. The mystery of what's around the corner is present and the reflected trees through a little seen sort of reflection. Very good light and excellent result. TFS. Murray.
