Photographer’s Note
Heading eastwards towards the village of Tadoussac for some whale-watching, we passed through the beautifully situated Quebec town of Baie-St-Paul. There is a vantage point there from which the whole area can be seen, photographed, painted, admired. A local artist set up his easel on which at first I thought he had placed his rendering of the scene below us, but apparently it was an earlier picture of something completely different. Still, it looked very pretty against the background.
