Photographer’s Note

This is a shot from the Mosel Ballon-Fiesta taking place every year in Föhren some 20km from Trier. It was rather windy so the start was delayed several times but finally they lifted off and it was a beautiful sight to see 70 baloons in the air at the same time.

Hallo Andreas,
I like these images showing multitudes of balloons floating in the sky, and here you had a very attractive blue sky with also a nice cloud, just imagine the view they had from over there !

Dear Andreas,
Wonderful photo. The thumbnail caught my attention and I can't stop looking at it now!
The angle/percpective is brilliant, it's so sharp and the sky (the cloud) is beautiful!
the kind of shot I would love to realise one day!

Klasse, wirklich Klasse - et gefälld mr waane good! Ohne diese Wolke und die glasklare Luft wär's nur halb so schön. Es sind wirklich 20, aber man muss schon genau hinsehen.
Ein Foto wirklich zum hineinträumen ...

Muggen,
Bin hier gerade mal drüber gestolpert. Einfach ein klasse Bild, kompositorisch wie farb- und schärfentechnisch. Besonders genial ist meiner Meinung nach die Entscheidung, die Wolke miteinzubeziehen und den ersten ballon darauf "schweben" zu lassen.

Achso, habe übrigens nicht am Himmel rumgefummelt, sondern nur Konstrast und Helligkeit etwas erhöht.
