Photographer’s Note

I'm back from various travels in the past two months so decided to share this sunset shot to represent the end of summer. I took this image a couple of nights ago of the skies over Klamath Falls, Oregon. We enjoyed endless days of wall to wall sun with this being the only evening that offered some cloud to enhance the evening sky. Enjoy. It's almost two for the price of one! Stunning colours repeated in the reflection. The silhouettes are almost completely symmetrical. Beautiful!

I will repeat mysel, but I will still say that there are no two similar sunsets, and I don't think I will ever grow tired looking at well-presented images of sunrises and sunsets. love your version here, the fiery clouds look like a brush stroke by some celestial painter, while the reflection nicely doubles the effect.

Hi Gerald,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the houses which is giving depth to the photo. The sunset is giving nice colors to the sky and to the lake. Have a nice day.
