Life is quiet in northern Honduras, most residents still live in simple way. GDP per capita of Honduras was about US$1800 in 2008, monthly income for a labour below US$100 is common in nowadays. In 2009, Honduras is in the 7th place of the “Happy Planet Index” (New Economics Foundation).
