Summer Butterfly Photo

Photographer’s Note

As summer orange flowers were blooming in a good formation, I stopped the bicycle to capture it, then just at that moment a black swallowtail butterfly was crossing the blossoms. It was an event only for a few seconds.
Colour of orange and green has been made from a picture style "Landscape", which is no retouched. I made only the sky deeper a little to stand out blossoms in pp.

It's so wonderful, so heavenly! This spectacular composition has all the things - flowers, green leaves, butterfly and blue sky.

a bit hard to see the butterfly in the compo may be but still a great summer shot this is hisashi... so sad the summer is about to end:(...

Hi Hisashi,

that's definitely an unusual angle. I like the contast between the blue and the green and to see the little butterfly flying to the flowers. It's graphically interesting and well presented!

What a simple but beautiful composition of rich colours. You used the polariser very well here to enhance the blue and green. Well chose viewpoint, looking up at the sky. I had to look carefully to see the butterfly! Very nicely done.

Hi Hisashi, the tones of this photo are wonderful. Isn't nature amazing? I love the way the blossoms stand out against that blue, blue sky. It is now spring in Australia and this photo is a perfect reminder to me of that! TFS, Lisa.

That's the first time I see orange flowers. I have seen many orange trees with fruits but never the flowering. Thanks for sharing. You produced very nice contrasts by increasing the saturation of the sky. Well done
