Photographer’s Note

At high speed you get a wonderful feeling of freedom.. the colours of the water are fantastic, you fly into the green and then back into the gold, later on into dark grey when you reach the shadow of the mountain. You are so fast that the reflections are not small points but blue , green and golden lines and stripes moving towards you..

The AI-mode of the autofocus of my camera is very useful for objects that move towards the photographer. The focus follows the object, but even more, it calculates the movement in advance, so when you push the button the focus is already there.

The original size of the pic is 54 MB due to the unregular water surface. Hard to put it into 300KB.

Navigare con la vela e volare in deltaplano devono dare effettivamente sensazioni di vera libertà! Eccellente questo lago in controluce tenuto quasi in bianco e nero! Bella la figura solitaria del serfista, con il suo incredibile riflesso, alla conquista dello spazio libero!

die silbrigen Reflexionen sind wunderbar... das durchsichtige Segel des Surfers erinnert an einen Libellenfluegel und erzeugt ein besonderes Gefuehl der Leichtigkeit... grossartig!

another incredible photo, the sail looks so fragile, like a butterfly, and the metal-like surface of water adds to the contrast. the composition works nicely to show the scale, love this shot.
