Sidney has lots to offer the visitor: It is easy to get to, just 12 miles from the Victoria ferry, there are many quaint shops, the hotel prices are fair and reasonable, and, my favorite, the people just love to stop and talk to newcomers who visit their fair city.

A stroll along the seawall affords many delights, one of which is this pond (complete with red/orange carp) situated directly in front of a restaurant located on the seawall.

The Sidney harbour is beautiful, and there are many benches with flowers all around the seawall. If you ever get to Sidney, you will really enjoy yourself and discover all the treasures this little jewel of a city has to offer.
