Photographer’s Note
The town of Glastonbury is known for many things - the music festival (which does not actually take place in Glastonbury), the Abbey, the Tor, the Isle of Avalon, and the Holy Thorn.
The tree, which legend tells us grew from the staff Joseph of Arimathea planted in the fround when he landed in Britain, is known throughout the area and beyond. It is shrouded in ribbons from people passing on luck and best wishes to friends and loved ones.
