Hi Sayeed,
love the atmosphere here. Those people who seem to wander aimlessly on the beach, heads down, looking at their own reflections...very moody. One little pick: those shadows are really strong...I wish there was a little bit more light in them. Also, do you have a version with the woman's head on? I wonder what kind of effect this would bring...
Best,
Philippe

Hi Sayeed,
a good image formation, four people in different distances, that´s a lot of depth. The horizon at the golden ratio..perfect.
Good one !
Cheers Christian

nicely done in monochrome.
the off-head is a good element for composition and pivots the composition.

"in search of" their shadows may be... a tribute to Platon ;)
a very provocative title for this smart and non-perfectionist composition Sayeed. well-done.

I agree with Francine.
Man! There is a professional taste in this, as if masters' works have been studied in depth. The compo, the b&w tonality, the crop, the story...
Keep on please, amazing us with such work.
All the best,
Deniz

Sayeed, you're back with what might be your strongest and better executed picture!
I think I like everything in this picture. From the tones, to the reflections, the stances of the protagonists, the completely bleached sky, the girl breaking the triangle of characters and her footsteps partially breaking her own reflection.
Very good picture Sayeed. Something to be proud of!
see you,
Marc

You've got a nice chunk of a good photography up there, Sayeed.
The form takes over the content...
The content takes over a message.
Like it tremendously , if only for its classical finishing and a final presentation.
These darks in there...Delicioso...

Hello Sayeed!
Very impressive photo, very original, with amazing, almost theatrical atmosphere! Perfect choice of b&w! Great composition and framing, I 'm not sure about the "cropped" person in the foreground, though!

Great shot, Sayeed. Everything works here. The top crop is particularly strong, as is the positioning of the other three figures. The focus on the footsteps leads us into the scene.
And I also like the contribution of the title here.

Hi Sayeed,
I am fond of landscape photography and of portraits too. So your gallery is a pleasant discovery to me. I start with this one, as the composition is a masterpiece. I do not know how much worked out it is (my photos are often accidental...), but the strong decision to crop the head of the figure in the foreground is strong and actually very effective. This is a kind of shot that I would have never thought to capture. Congratulations, Dario.

This is a superb black and white rendition coupled with quite an exquisite composition. I am not suggesting any link but reminds me of a much liked photographer, a gentleman names Sohrab Hura. I simply love the smudgy figures. thanks and Salam

Hello banker-bro ;-)
Like the framing, especially with the lady in the FG, leaving footsteps in the sand which creates a nice lead-in. The boy on the left and his complete shadow in the wet sand, the same for the other two guys watching the sea add to the beauty. Considering the yukky colour of the Mumbai beaches, I think this B&W conversion looks much better. Good work!
