Photographer’s Note
Another colourful image to brighten up these grey autumn days (at least here in Prague...)
Klima is the largest and probably also the most photographed fishing village on the island of Milos, in the south-western Cyclades.
These villages are made up of these little dwellings with boat "garages", called syrmata, where the fishermen would sleep before going out to sea early in the morning, so that they would not have to climb down the steep hills in the dark (or so I am told :-) ). Some of these garages are simply carved into the rock, with a front and a door put on, some more developed, like these ones, featuring balconies.

Hello Dagmar,
Before 35 years I was impressed when I saw this village from the ship before the port of Milos, I see now that nothing changed and the village is still so beautiful as your composition, very good POV, lovely "united" colors.
Have a nice WE, Vasilis.

Hi Dagmar, you and one of my favourite Greek photographers Vasilpro have been touring the same areas, I see. The photo is so colourful it is a beautiful welcome for the summer we in the Southern Hemisphere are about to commence. I like the POV and the lines creates by the buildings, balconies and boat. Nicely spotted, expertly taken, TFS and enjoy your week, Lisa.

Hi Dagmar,
Very attractive POV on the syrmata of Klima. The colored perspective is very successful. It is an interesting POV because the sea is absent.
Congratulations, have a nice WE
Diane
