Photographer’s Note
2nd post of my Venice tour... Do you know that the Gondolas are hand made using 8 different types of wood fir, oak, cherry, walnut, elm, mahogany, larch and lime. It is also composed of 280 pieces. The oars are made of beech wood. The left side of the gondola is made longer than the right side. This asymmetry causes the gondola to resist the tendency to turn toward the left at the forward stroke.

Hello Abhijit
Classic photo of Venice. THis boat looks lonely. the scenery is beautiful...and its a great example of old meets new - withe the 'hard rock cafe' in the background!
love the small wooden walkway with flowers as well.
Great scene you shot here.
Cheers
Craig
