Photographer’s Note
Whenever I see scenes such as this one of Glen Coe, I can't help but think of the movie Braveheart. Yes, I know, there's no evidence that William Wallace ever visited the Highlands, even though Braveheart was filmed almost exclusively there. And yes, I know that Braveheart is nowhere near an accurate representation of the Scottish Wars of Independence. But for good or ill, Braveheart is what most non-Britons think of when we see this sort of scenery. Of course it didn't help that I had the Braveheart soundtrack playing in the car that morning. :)
Taken from the road on my way back to the Clachaig Inn after a lovely sunrise, of which I have not posted nearly enough pictures. But hopefully I'll remedy that in the future. I've been very busy with a new job the past month or so, but hopefully things will settle down fairly soon.

Bonjour Clark,
C'est un très joli paysage que tu nous proposes là avec de bien belles couleurs et un ciel superbe. J'aurais bien aimé voir quelques randonneurs le long des chemins mais ce sera pour une prochaine fois ;-)
Bravo à toi.

Hi Clark,
lovely view. Those greens are beautiful. I'm going to Scotland in a couple of weeks and I can't wait to see such scenaries! Maybe not as sunny but still....
Best,

Hi Clark,
I consider this place as one of the most beautiful of Scotland and your photo really makes us feel how impressive it is ! The POV is excellent, the light and the colours are great and you had a wonderful (and not typicallly scottish at all !) sky.
Regards,
Olivier

Hi Clark
I opened this and thought yep this looks like New Zealand's closest cousin - these two countries are so similar in my opinion, its a beauty this shot. Must have been in Glencoe now well over 10 years ago and it still looks beautiful and rugged. The vista is superb and the colours are to my taste indeed.
You certainly encountered some excellent weather there. All you needed was someone there in a bright red jacket to show some scale and bring the blue and greens out more ;-). Very well done.
Regards
Jim

Good morning Clark!
What a wonderful sight! A really inviting photo with strong and impressive colours. I like the wideness of this landscape very much. A photo to marvel ...
Perhaps something in foreground (fence, rock, plant ...) would have been good in order to create an even better depth.
Greetings from rainy Germany - and have a good weekend!

Hi Clark,
This looks like a nice place to visit in summer.
A beautiful clear and sunny view on the highlands.
I like the compo with the peaks on the left and the valley on the right. The small road going through the photo towards the lake (?) in the valley is a nice add on.
Well done! Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice weekend,
Harko

Hi Clark
A very fresh and luminous image from Scotland, it's amazing what a nice weather you have got there and these nice clouds populating the sky add to the attractivity of the landscape
Have a nice day JY
