Photographer’s Note
Buying fresh rose sticks just before entering the shrine at Haji Ali. A lot of people come and pay their respect and pray for their well being.
Every face tells a story...
Inside the Haji Ali - Dargah in South Mumbai [see workshop..gives you an idea ]
The Haji Ali Dargah was constructed in 1431 by a rich Muslim merchant, Sayed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca.
Sayed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari Hailing from Bukhara, in the ancient Persian Empire and now in Uzbekistan, Bukhari travelled around the world in the early 1400s, and then settled in Mumbai.

AS PER THE LEGENDS....surrounding his mystique, once the Saint saw a poor woman crying on the road, holding an empty vessel. He asked her what the problem was. She sobbed that that her husband would thrash her since she had stumbled and accidentally spilled the oil she was carrying. He asked her to take him to the spot where she lost the oil. There, he jabbed a finger into the soil and the oil gushed out. The overjoyed woman filled up the vessel and went home. Later, Bukhari had a recurring - and disturbing - dream that he had injured Mother Earth by his act.
Full of remorse, he soon fell ill and directed his followers to cast the coffin carrying his body into the Arabian Sea
Other stories state that the great saint, Haji Ali left this world during his journey to Mecca and miraculously his casket carrying his body floated back to these shores. - wiki.

Hello Sayeed - -->
I think that you have done a good work of Post-processing ,
playing with the red color of the roses, also the expression
of the face of the woman is interesting, the result is good.

Hi Sayeed;
I like the composition, but the image looks very flat in that the blacks are appearing grey (instead of black) and the image. I've made some suggestions in the attached workshop- I hope this helps.

Asalam-o-Alaikum,
Simply superb...the mood and the presentation. I like the low contrast, it somewhat complements the somber mood.
Thanks for sharing

You won't like me this time...
first I find the moment a bit banal and ordinary. I would like an eye contact between the 2 women or between the woman and you or maybe the woman looking at the flowers...The story HAS to be in the frame. Here, I get the sense that it's taking place OUTSIDE the frame.
And the tones, well the tones are totally off. The pp work clipped many pixels on the nose and cheeks (I don't mind those in the back, but the face is important).
Finally, the partial desaturation...It might be the technique that I dislike the most...so I guess I'm very subjective here. But it's about subjectivity, isn't it?
see you,
Marc

Hello Sayeed, An eye catching image, I think the red roses play a big part but I think it may still have been very effective even without your selective desaturation. Nice PP work, the expression on the woman’s face tells a story, it conveys the same feeling as the woman in your note which I found to be very interesting & informative. Nice one, thanks

Hi Sayeed,
This shot may be the starting point of many stories. Her upset face, the anxiety mood that the grey colour created, the woman's hand movement to the purse... The red colour of roses... they all tell me stories, I loved it
kind regards
