this looks like two "layers" combining two absolutely different worlds which, for some strange reason, suddenly merge for a moment and present this wonderful, beautiful picture - a combination of something "earthly" and something "divine"!

The light is well handled on your part, the layers of fog are mysterious while the lone tree with its red bloom looks superb. Not sure what time you took this, but the 4.30 wake up call to get to this point shows why it pays to get up early.

Hi Andreas, certainly it was worth getting up early. The grasses here growing on the rocks, the hills (Western Ghats?) and first of all the lonely tree are very beautiful I do not remember if I went through Munnar. I was in Kumily and Periyar and Ooty. Is it far away?

Hi, Leo. Very nice mood in this pic. The clouds and the haze in the distance create a morning ambience and also depth in the image. The tree is very well placed in the composition and makes a good foreground, just like the rock on the left. Very nice landscape.

This one is curious... the vivid red of the flowers contrasts so strongly with the misty background; it looks magical! And undoubtedly very charming. Your composition is excellent but I wonder what it would look like framed without the grass? I imagine it could even be more impressive, striking. Or, if we could desaturate the grass? What do you think?
Anyway that's a great job and a complete surprise from Munnar...

Low clouds hung suspended over the land and you, thanks to that point of view, had the benefit of a beautiful shot!
