Photographer’s Note
Everywhere you go in the White Mountains there were these spectacular views.
This particular one is on a cross road that is not shown on Mapquest, somewhere joining route 112 and 302, west of Conway.

Hi Nina
I almost held my breath too when I looked at the preview, but the Photograph turned out to be a disappointment when it opened up. Why? Because the details of the very subject you are trying to show us is not clear.
The flowers or whatever that is, you are trying to show us is blurred out, the view of the Mountains behind is not in focus too. With a fantastic Camera like the Nikon D300, this image should have gone on to be a Professional quality one.
Two things that could have made this a great image are a "Tripod" and a smaller aperture like F/16! Better luck next time.
Cheers, Blue

Hi Nina,
The landscape seems to be very colorful. But a few useful post processing corrections would have improved the picture very much. Enhanced exposure would have improved the depth of the picture very much.
Even though the picture is very colorful, it is not very sharp. Please try enhancing the sharpness slightly. Due to the shadow of the clouds, upper part of the picture looks a bit dark. try adjusting the brightness/contrast to improve depth.
Regards from India
