This is a great mountain scene. The icy lake in the foreground provides nice reflections of the sky and mountain. The lighting and colors are fine as is the photos sharpness. The clouds hanging on the mountain adds a nice finishing touch for the scene.

Bonjour Julia,

Encore un admirable paysage que vous nous faites découvrir.
Je m'aperçois qu'en haute montagne alpine , il y a encore beaucoup de neige et de glace à la fin du printemps ou au début de l'été. Je me demande quelle est la limite du permafrost, dans les Alpes. A partir de quelle altitude le sol , les roches, restrent-ils gelés de manière permanente ?
La persistance, ou non, du permafrost est un important indicateur de changement climatique.
