Photographer’s Note

The autumn season, or fall, as it's often called, begins in September. The weather cools and the leaves on many trees change colour and fall to the ground. It can also be very rainy at this time of year. In some parts of Ontario, especially northern regions, snow may begin to fall by late October.
This photo of the floating leaf and the duck in the water of Mississauga Creek I took in an autumn morning, when the sun was rising up.

Hi Ziggy,
This is excellent! I especially like the bright oranges on the water and the incredible sharpness of the image. I was surprised by the colour of the leaf- it seems almost white- but I think maybe it's just the light and the fact that it's upside down. Nice duck, too!

ziggy..hey..

Well handled light and the control of exposure has contributed towards the depth and the sharpness of image..colours are waht makes nature shots stand out and youve done it well my friend..

The abstraction has just started to creates a good visual..cant tell much from the thumbnail..thats the first sign of success

The duck is sharp and the webbed feet compliment the orange tones in the water. How very Canadian eh? That maple leaf says it all.
