Photographer’s Note

Tourists go to Sardinia in the summer and certainly few of them have witnessed the spectacular storms of other seasons. In the photo: the beach of Fontanamare, region of Iglesiente, todsy, under a powerful mistral.

Les touristes vont en Sardaigne au cours de l'été et certainement peu d'entre eux ont vu les tempêtes spectaculaires des autres saisons. Sur la photo: la plage de Fontanamare, dell'Iglesiente région, sous un mistral puissant.

I turisti frequentano la Sardegna soprattutto d'estate e sicuramente pochi di loro hanno assistito alle spettacolari mareggiate delle altre stagioni. Nella foto: la spiaggia di Fontanamare, nella regione dell'Iglesiente, sotto un potente maestrale.

Hi Bobo,
I sometimes wonder what's happening here at TE. My opinion, this is a perfect shot with good pov and perfect light. The viewer can hear the roaring sea.
But up to now almost 30 viewers and no points ??
Another evidence for the fact that "color counts" !

Dobro vece, kod nas je bio hladan dan sa kisom.
Dobra kompozicija, dobre boje i trenutak snimka.
Svidja mi se ova fotografija i oblaci koji najavljuju nevreme sa ovim lepim talasima.

Questo è proprio il mio genere. Molto suggestiva. potevi specificare meglio dove l'hai presa, Iglesias è molto vago... Funtanamare?

Il existe des moments de grande beauté, encore faut-il savoir les mettre en valeur d'une très belle façon, ce qui est le cas ici.
La composition est magnifique, c'est bien dommage que l'on ne puisse pas la voir sur grand écran.

How powerful waves are here. Fantastic angry sea, beautiful sky. Very impressive view. I like bathing in such water if it is not too cold.

Certo che questa foto e' una vera coltellata nello stomaco a chi ama spettacoli come questi e cieli fantastici....infatti vedo gia' il sangue che mi esce dalla pancia....mamma mia che meravigliosa situazione e che classe fotografica,e non era facile tenere sotto controllo questa escursione di luci altissime come la spuma delle onde e bassissime come le parti piu' cariche delle nubi! Hai fatto una gran meraviglia,complimenti e buona settimana,LUCIANO

I was scrolling throught the thumbnails of TE and this nice dramatic one grabbed my attention. Opened it up and realsied it was a Bobo Cortis photograph :)

Nice capture of the rolling storm Bobo. The surging surf and clouds mix together nicely. Nice photo :))

J'aime beaucoup les dégradés de bleus qu'on peut voir dans votre photo. Et il y a beaucoup de force qui émane du ciel et des vagues.

c'è chi va in capo al mondo per fotografare le tempeste marine...ma tu guarda qui che spettacolo! nuvole che se ne vanno, o che arrivano? spettacolo unico ripreso in modo magistrale.

La mer agitée me fascine toujours, une marine très appréciables sous une belle luminosité.
Je me permets de t'encourager à prendre une position plus basse en s'agenouillant, ceci permettra de donner une bonne profondeur d'avant-plan. Attention de ne pas mouiller l'appareil car le sel ne pardonne pas.

Shallow water and strong wind has made all the bottom half of the frame foaming. And sky looks great too. Saturated blue sky going away and darker clouds approaching fast. Impressive.

Tu as asiste a une scene superbe, Bobo. Une nouvelle preuve qu'il faut porter son Nikon sur soi, tout le temps et partout. On ne sait jamais ce qu'il va arriver.

La palette du gris et du bleu est seduisante. La menace du ciel et additionee a la menace de la mer. Brave realisation, caro amico!

Celle -ci, je l'adore....
Un ciel d'une incroyable menace que l'on ressent très bien. l'écume blaznche apporte de la lumière ce qui en ajoute encore au côté sombre de ce ciel.
Une atosphère vaiment bien capturée.

C'est souvent sous la tempête que les côtes sont les plus belles. C'est également la cas dans ma région d'origine, en Bretagne.
Je ne me lasserai jamais de voir de tels paysages ! C'est tellement revigorant.
C'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas le son et les odeurs ! ;-)
Ta photo est très belle et de très bonne qualité. Un spectacle que j'apprécie vraiment.
