Photographer’s Note

Autumn colors have been slow and late in our area this year, but a few choice spots can yeild color when the light is right. This image was taken in the Cheam Wetlands earlier this week on a day when the light was bright but not direct sun. I like the reds mid frame and the overall impact of the reflections in the pond.

I agree, its been difficult to find that perfect autumn colours so far.
But you certainly found a great spot here.
stunning actually, the golds and reds are mixed nicely, contrasting with the water and green forest in the background.

the ultimate autumns photo, I love the strong golden and orange colours, the scene seems filled with luminous light. and I agree about the reds in the mid-frame, they certainly add a nice colour accent. great shot, my compliments.

This is a stunning seasonal scenery!
And it never fails, the Canadian autumn is among the best, maybe the best, every year...

Wonderful exploision of autumn colors seen reflecting in this shallow pond.
The colors in the northeast were very disappointing this year due to unusually cold weather.

Hi Gerald.
You have more autumn colour that we have, our native trees are all evergreen so it is only the imports that provide autumn colour in my part of the world. Great photo, nice catch of colour, texture and pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Teintes automnales très prononcées ici, c'est sésduisant et appétissant et ne fait pas apparaitre l'automne comme une saison précédent l'hiver avec des températures plus basses.
