Photographer’s Note

Shot taken from Fourcla Surlej (2755m), a great place to rest, have a picnic, and enjoy the view of the major peaks of the Bernina Alps. In the middle is Piz Scerscen (3971m), on the left is part of Piz Bernina (4049m), and on the right is part of Piz Roseg (3937). Right below where the couple is sitting is the Roseg Valley. The walk that started in Corvatsch will continue to Pontresina via Val Roseg. I will later post a wider panoramic view of the scene from here (Fourcla Surlej.

It was a great idea to take this picture with the couple on the bottom, looking toward the beautiful mountain.

They look so tiny... and they are a superb bonus to add a contemplation dimension to this nice mountain image. Too crazy we've been visiting the same place the same day, I was early morning on Munt Pers.

I think the inclusion of the 2 people, make this photo stand out 10fold!
It truly gives us the viewer, a sense of just how large the Glacier really is.

great place, even if you did not have the best light here...
small quastions: why do not include the lake and why cropping the piz Roseg on the right?
