Photographer’s Note

Verviers is a Walloon city and municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège. The Verviers municipality includes the old communes of Ensival, Lambermont, Petit-Rechain, Stembert, and Heusy. It is also the center of an agglomeration that includes Dison and Pepinster making it the second biggest in the province and an important regional center, conveniently located roughly halfway between Liège and the German border.

Verviers is Wallonia's "Water Capital".

Hello John,
A very attractive composition captured under a pleasing warm light. The church on the far side is nicely balanced by the rising road on the nearside of the canal. I very much like the soft light and colours. Very good clarity.

this impression that almost looks like a painting is so typical for the autumn in our hemisphere, you have captured this special mood excellently! The gentle light and the colors are very pleasant. It is this fantastic atmosphere that makes the image very attractive! My compliments!
