Photographer’s Note

I'm in a festive mood today so let's have some more fun with lights and motionz, here two complementing movements on Basel's Münsterplatz, I had posted a similar one last year but finally I prefer the framing of that one leaving a bit more space around, it was taken a bit later also so the blue hour is almost gone

Have fun at the herbschtmäss while it lasts :-)

voilà un superbe jeu de lumière coloré, bien mis en valeur par la pose lente. Le tout dans un cadrage étudié et avec un bon contraste sur le ciel foncé. La prochaine fois je prend un ticket !

C'est ton gateau d'anniversaire qui tourne ?
Bizarre, sans regarder que c'était toi, j'ai pensé que c'était ton image par la vignette. Bien que le ciel soit plus sombre que d'hab. les bâtiments autour sont bien nets et les couleurs s'éclatent.
J'espère que les 5 dernières minutes de "ta journée" passent agréablement.

Un effet toujours aussi intéressant sur ces attractions.
Malgré la nuit noir, l'image est restée dynamique et festive grâce à ta pose longue. L'ambiance devait être sympa !

tes photos de fête sont toutes pus belles les unes que les autres,j'adore les lumières qui se détachent sur la nuit parfaitement noire,et j'adore la sensation de mouvement!Je vais de ce pas essayer de retrouver la photo de l'année dernière!

deux magnifiques manéges dans la nuit qui donnent un superbe effet avec ces lumiéres et je trouve que ca rend bien dans la nuit noire plutot qu'a l'heure bleue les couleurs ressortent mieux

The effect of the 2-second exposure is amazing, all of the people have been erased from the rides and the rides have assumed a spaceship-like quality. The blue hour is not entirely gone, just turned into the dark-blue hour ;-)

nice composition. Perfect theme for a night shot. Many colorful moving objects. I have uploaded a blue hour shot with a wheel in Belfast but I am not happy with it maybe I just overdosed the HDR PP.
Here you have the advantage that you have few objects moving in different directions and they seem to touch each other.
