The water ways of Gent Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the lovely city of Gent. Compared to Bruges I thought Gent seemed a lot more lived in, but no less beautiful. This seems like a place where people live and work in beautiful surroundings. Then, of course, there were a few tourists, which actually make this photo a bit more interesting, don't you think?

Hi Kate,
This is a very nice and pleasant image, the mood seem really relax with the tourist enjoying the scenery, and I do think the inclusion of the boat do adds some liveliness and cheerfulness to the scenery. beautiful composition, you managed well in this low light wiht good colors and details. Thanks

Hi Kate

Nice clear shot of the area. Perhaps I would have cropped out some of the sky as it is the least interesting part of the photo for me. I like all the reflections captured in the water. The architecture is colourful and interesting to look at.
