Photographer’s Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This will probably be the last of my shots from this particular outing to The Lakes (apart from the w/s). It captures a view of Sour Milk Ghyll as it tumbles down from Easdale Tarn. The stream is called Sour Milk Ghyll because the whiteness of the rushing water resembles milk.

In the f/g, the characteristic drystone wall, with its slanting coping stones, has begun to show signs of neglect, but provided a fine viewpoint for photography!

The large patches of brown are mainly a result of the bracken dieing. I found a special, large patch, complete with its very own resident sheep, to place in the w/s. Here you are, JY ... challenge fulfilled!

Shot in Raw, converted in PSE6.

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to feedback on any aspect of the photograph. Bev :-)
