Photographer’s Note

Some days ago I showed you the small castle Neuenhof. Now I want to show you two details of this beautiful little manor, built in 17th century.

My main picture shows the so-called alliance coat of arms of the noble families Neuhoff and Bottlenberg, fixed to the gable. When the spear side of Neuhoff family died out, the daughter of the last baron married baron von Bottlenberg in 1714 and this coat of arms reminds of this alliance.
In German this is called "Hochzeitstafel" that means ~ "wedding tablet".

In workshop you can see the front door of the manor house - I think a lovely piece of art crafted by hand.
