121- A French tree for Bracasha75 Photo

Photographer’s Note

On a bright autumn afternoon, we took a walk in the largest public park of Nantes "Le Grand Blottereau".
The park and mansion used to be the property of Thomas Dobrée, a rich merchant and ship owner who had built it in the second part of the 18th century.
The story doesn't say, but sadly, the city of Nantes and its rich owners made their fortunes on the Triangular Commerce (i.e. Africa to America with slaves. America to Europe with cotton and products from the Americas,and back to Africa with European and American products for the chiefs, suppliers of slaves!)

Anyway, the city bought the property in 1905 and the renovation started in 1990.
The park shelters a horticultural school and specialises in exotic plantations.

Amongst my TE friends, I think Bratislav is the "king of trees". He must have photographed about every tree in Despotovac. Thank you Bratislav! Trees are the "salt of our Planet".
It's the first time I post a tree, so I dedicate it to you.

Par un beau dimanche après-midi, nous nous sommes promenés dans ce magnifique parc de Nantes, "Le Grand Blottereau".
Le parc et le château furent la propriété de Thomas Dobrée, un riche marchand qui l'avait construit durant la 2è partie du 18è siècle.
L'histoire ne le dit pas, mais malheureusement, la ville de Nantes et ses riches négociants faisaient leur fortune dans le "commerce triangulaire" (De l'Afrique à l'Amérique avec des esclaves; de l'Amérique à l'Europe avec du coton, et de retour vers l'Afrique avec des produits américains et européens pour les fournisseurs d'esclaves...)

Finalement, la ville acheta la propriété en 1905, et la rénovation commença en 1990.
Le parc abrite une école d'agriculture, et se spécialise dans les plantations exotiques.

Parmi mes amis de TE, Bracasha75 (Bratislav) est le roi des arbres; Il doit les avoir presque tous photographiés à Despotovac! Merci Bratislav! Les arbres sont le sel de notre planète!
C'est la 1è fois que je poste un arbre , alors je te le dédie.

Bonsoir Marie-Louise,

Ton premier arbre mais tu l'as minutieusement choisi, les couleurs de son feuillage sont superbes et bien desservies par cette belle lumière. Un parc que je ne connais pas mais qui gagne à être parcouru semble-t-il. Une agréable composition. Une belle première et j'espère qu'il y en aura d'autres... Merci Marie-Louise.

Bella presentazione della stagione Autunnale! Bella luce e buona resa cromatica! Bello il giallo dell'albero con il verde della conifera ed il blu del cielo, bello anche il paesaggio sul fondo! Una foto che ci presenta una bella stagione che vorremmo sempre così!

This is a nicely colored tree which is well centered in the shot. The lighting and colors are fine as is the photo's sharpness.

Bonjour Marie-Louise,
this is The Tree of Trees!! :)) of course it is a special sunlight that makes this tree look simply outstanding!
It looks like it's made of gold. Not too much to say more because Nature often doesn't leave "space" for words to express opinion about its beauty.
Nature only offers its beauty to us - but it's already up to the photographer to capture it - in the best possible way, preferably, of course! :)
It's nice to see that there's a dark-green tree in the background, behind the "golden" tree: thus, it emphasizes the "golden" tree very well!

It is obvious, this fellow has put on the best autumn dress for the photograph!
Nice to see you still have trees with leaves on, our autumn was very windy so all I can see is naked branches...

Hello Marie-Louise,
Such a beautiful picture is a good gift for not only Bratislav, but for every TE user. The scene is so bright and colorful mainly due to this goldish tree and very right angle of capturing, when the straw crown of the tree is exactly against the darker background, making the strong color contrast. Excellent autumn-mood photo!

Il est seul cet arbre, il sait qu'il est beau, il étale avec une certaine fatuité sa parure mordorée, de plus, il profite d'un environnement où les conifères font ressortir sa splendeur.
La lumière est superbe.

Une compo simple mais aux couleurs chaudes et agréables. L'arbre est intéressant par son feuillage automnal contrastant bien avec le reste de l'image, et est donc un sujet approprié.

Bon idée, un arbre en boule comme il en a photopgraphié sous tous les angles. Mais j'ai l'impression qu'il n'a pas encore remplacé son appareil.

Il est rayonnant cet arbre et les couleurs de son feuillage créent une bonne musique avec le ciel.Personnellement j'aurais cadré un peu moins de sol au premier plan afin d'inscrire cette image dans un carré.

una bella profondità e soprattutto una bella sequenza di piani che accompagnano lo sgaurdo molto lontano e creano quasi un effetto tridimensionale.
Bellissimo il giallo delle foglie in primo piano.

mi piace la foto ma non il titolo. Non credo che quell'albero abbia il passaporto francese... a Cesare quel che è di Cesare e alla natura quello che è della naura.
I colori dell'autunno, sia dell'albero che del prato sono veramente molto belli e la luce è splendida, una vera benedizione. E mi piacciono anche le persone e gli alberi nello sfondo. Un bello scenario e una bella atmosfera.
