Photographer's Note

I particularly liked this railway station building in Aveiro due to their typical Portuguese tiles.

Aveiro receives the traveler with a unique luminosity and an intense aroma of the sea. It is the Ria that surrounds and crosses the city that is responsible for such a unique ambience, noticeable immediately on arrival when crossing the doors of the Railway Station.

This building, covered with tiles from the Factory Fonte Nova (1916), with scenes of marine activities, announces the linkage of the city to a generous arm of the sea.
