Photographer’s Note
This pix was taken on an early winter morning in Osian, Rajasthan. This place is known for its ancient Jain temples and is scattered with Hindu and Jain monuments. I liked this composition because of its extremes: of modern clothes worn by the man in foreground against the traditional clothes of the peasants, of humans and animals both being present in the frame, of movement of the vehicle in the background against the general stillness and also of a feeling of cold weather against that of hot fire.

wow, beautiful shot, bold composition and wonderful light, great effect of use of wide angle, the dog on the road is great, beautiful sky, two small flaws i can finde here are two guys behind the cropped guy - it is a bit messy behind himn. anyway, it is very good.

A strong scene that you perfecty shot using a wide obj and an unusual angle/framing. Definitively in TE spirit, really good job

A great photo...the dog on the right looking outward really makes this photo.

maybe my favorite from your gallery so far Anil. This is a daring compo: cropping the man on the left (maybe accident?), but it works with all the other elements to tell a story.

this is your best till now. sorry i missed out this one, which was posted earlier. the fire, the light management you have, and the sky in the background makes it a fantastic combination.
the traditional touch being the man sitting near the fire, and his blue turban.

Very nice daily life shot. I like the composition. The picture has many interesting subjects in it. This picture can tell a small story by itself. Good shot.

i would be tempted to say that this is a very mccurryish photograph because of the deep colours, the dog and the general feel of the photograph.. but it's just a little wider than most of his photographs ( most) .
i'm not saying that the use of the wide angle is bad, it's just how it makes it different from a mccurry.
i really like this anil and i thnik it's one of your best , the other being the another taken b you in rajasthan, i think your wife and friend are also in the corner in that photograph.
i see a nikon f90x and a fuji provia,, quite professional. also you printed a black and white photograph yourself. have you ever been a professional photographer at any time in your life. just curious
take care :)
