Photographer’s Note

This is a sand pumping jetty on the Gold Coast. My favourite beach "the Spit". My favourite because I can take my dog and he doesn't have to stay on the lead. This day was not a pleasant beach day. The wind was blowing a gale.

kristy,
a different perspective,a harder one.it has an impact of mystery over the compo with these tones especially.like a feeling 'road to nowhere' or 'eternity starts here' :-)

Hi Kristy - this is a cool image, great perspective here but also I think your use of B&W for this one is very effective as it helps to compensate for what was a dull day. If it was n colour I don't think it would have been as good (in comparison to a colour shot on a sunny day or at sunrise or sunset). Good work!
