This is an incredibile shot. I really like it. The details on the moon are superb. It would interesting to have a note with the picture. Is it a montage ? How was it done ?

I must commend you for the creative subject idea. You had a digital camera with a high-powered telescope, and you took a picture of the Moon instead of a nudist colony! The idea would have never crossed my mind. :-)

I like very much this shot, i really very sharp both the moon and the trees but i think that with the telescope the a perture couldn't have been 5.7 :)
I tryed a similar shot with my telescope (a 900mm Newton) with the sun insted of the moon, but the result wasn't like that :)

Vraiment fantastique. Quoi dire de plus. J'en suis bouche-bée. J'aurais seulement coupé un peu à gauche. Les arbres qui semble faire partie intégrante de la lune donne un aspect lugubre à cette nuit. Vite, dans mes Favoris!

J'ai toujours voulu faire cette photo de la lune partout ou je vais pour varier les premiers plans, mais avec un malheureux 150mm j'aurai du mal !

Magnifique ça doit être facile d'être dans la lune après avoir vu une si belle image d'elle. Bémol la signature dans la photo je trouve un peu dommage, ça n'est que mon avis, amicalement/jr

Hi Stephane. You done a good job on the post-process. The details of the moon and trees are very impressivley visualize. But you you think the distance of the moon is TOO NEAR. Or is it that the distance from the place when you are taking this photo is quite near.
My suggestion is to try to balance the distance of the moon and the trees to make it more realistic. Annway you done a good job again. Bravo.

Salut Stephane, savez vous que la Lune n'est en fait pas plus grosse à l'horizon qu'au zénith! En effet il s'agit seulement d'un effet d'optique, je n'y ai pas crue pendant longtemps avant de pouvoir le constater par moi même à travers un instrument pour mesurer les angles. Cet effet ressemble un peu à celui du cercle tracé sur les lignes parallèles. Très jolie photo, félicitations.

ca vaut la peine de s'arreter sur cette photo exceptionnel...quel resultat...heureusement que tu n'es pas sur d'avoir utilisé les bons reglages...je trouve le resultat moi surprenant après avoir lu la note...pas bête tout ca...que ne ferions-nous pas pour la photo??le résultat est superbe et les arbres un peu flou donne un bel encadrement naturel...tout bon et merci pour ce rêve...amicalement BI

Humm Humm... Est-ce que la photo est un montage? parce que:
1/ quand la lune se lève, elle est plutôt dans les tons rouges
2/ quand elle est si basse, la turbulence atmosphérique ne permet pas davoir autant de détails.
Sinon, c'est sûr que la digiscopie est intéresante.

Salut Stéphane,

Waouh ! Un super coup ce post ! Cette photo me fait penser aux effets que l'on voit souvent dans les films avec une Lune démesurée ! J'aime bien la présence des arbres en silhouette qui donne bien la mesure du grossissement résultant.
On peut juste regretter un petit effet de tilt qui fait que les arbres sont inclinés vers la gauche. Pour le reste, c'est du tout bon !
