Photographer’s Note
Hereby the last post-worthy (I hope) shot from my trip to Grand Canyon. The idea is, again, to contrast the tiny figures in the upper right with the enormeous landscape.
I was shooting into the setting sun so everything apart from the illuminated ridges was in shadow and the colours where pretty dull. Consequently I tried a B/W version.
Converted to monochrome in the channel mixer, pulled the channels to get a decent range of greys. The levels and curves for contrast.
