[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
As I was bay-fishing this kid approached me if I like to see his pet. He pulled something out and showed me the biggest hermit crab I've ever seen! Since he noticed that I was quite amazed with its size, He generously asked me if I like to have it. I said thanks but I might not be able to take good care of it. But I do like to have a photo of you holding it.

Hermit crabs reside inside unoccupied seashells and as they grow they relocate to bigger shells. It seems this hermit crab was unlucky finding a better one. Its house is just too small for him.

Interesting meeting! I believe that it would have been interesting to also see the child in the depth of field

You have a beautiful gallery Remus and this one is one of your best. Unlike Poulinp, I do like your DOF. THe cropping is also good (you know how much I like square pictures !). Well done !

Cool shot Remus. I like how you chose to focus the attention on the crab. Good overall, but I wish the crab were a touch sharper and that the kid's expression wasn't so dour (it doesnt quite fit the shot). Cheers!

Great. Reminds me a bit of nygus's stuff. I love the DOF and the boat in the background makes the shot perfect.

Very nice shot of the crab, Remus! For you important was the crab, and the depth of the field is very good. Thanks for posting.

Interesting crab, Remus - it looks different! Great focus, and use of shallow DOF! Pretty nice background, too, really shows us the typical Philippine rural scene.
So, did you catch any fish during that day? rgds.
