I bought a used book on the Niagara Escarpment, the geological area around the touristy Niagara Falls. This is marvelous country to explore and a world apart form the tourist traps at Niagara Falls.

I ventured out and found many waterfalls not shown in our American programs, and this is one of those guys.

Ah the famous Niagara Falls eh. I always forget whether it's the Canadian side or the US side which they say is the more spectacular. That water is falling very fast and has created a beautiful silky effect on the cliffs underneath. Beautiful colours and nice tight framing, leaving out the sky like that was a good move.

Very nice composition with magnificent view of waterfall. I like the appropriate use of shutter speed ...its so balanced.....when ever its to slow that it takes away the touch of natural aspect of waterfall & makes it look artificial ....but you have balanced it very well ...

color balance , sharpness & saturation are very well balanced....great job done
