Photographer's Note
As the closing act of the Redpath Waterfront Festival the 15 visiting historic sail boats (Tall Ships) paraded in front of Toronto's waterfront. This Norwegian SS Sonderlet was the last in the parade. In my previous post I showed this ship parked in front of the HTO park. Here it sails in Lake Ontario between the Toronto Islands and Toronto's waterfront, where thousands of visitors lined up to see and photograph these beautiful ships. Some of them even fired its guns to remind the viewers of the War of 1812 which was fought along these shores. I posted a closeup into the Workshop.

Hello Barnabas,
This is a good shot of this sail boat over a nice blue sky. From your note, I gather these boats stay on Lake Ontario. Too bad they don't travel up on the St-Lawrence, I could catch them in Quebec.
Best regards
Jacques

Hi Barnabas,
It's easy to see why these ships are so popular, this is a really fine example of these craft. Imposing and majestic, and you have a perfect angle to show it in all it's glory.
Best wishes
Noel
