The Wm. Lyon Mackenzie fire-boat leads the parade of TALL SHIPS during Redpath Waterfont Festival. This fleet of 15 sail boats are touring in Lake Ontario this year to commemorate the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 between the Americans and British/Canadian forces.

Hi, Barnabas,
Wow! Just a water show! Very interesting and informative note, we had have some different problems in 1812, it was a short war with Napoleon.

Hi Barnabas,
When is a boat not a boat....when its a fountain! This is one amazing show, and great that the civil protection get involved to show off their equipment at an event like this. You captured this at a perfect moment to show so many arcs of moving water frozen seamlessly. Nice done!

Why do I think of a giant red spider crawling over water by means of its eight legs, the two firemen holding the "antennas"?!
