Osorno volcano 2652m. seen from lake Todos los Santos on a winter morning. One of the most symmetrical cones, it looks the same when viewed from other directions. This is the southeast side.

Beautiful volcano, I was there in 2002, but I could not see it because the fog.

a définition of a beautifull mountain.
and what can i say about this fantastic cloud.
i think there is a little too much water and the WS of Olopez is well done.

its great the way that its green beneath the cloud and then white snow above it - the different bands of colour created are special and could be emphasized by cropping some of the watery foreground (like in the ws by olopez, but in this I miss the slope of green on the left side).

I love the mist which separetes the volcano and the green. THink there's a bit too much water though. Nice shots of chile.

Hi Tan
When I saw this photo an idea was born in my mind.
I would start at the top of the mountain on skis, in the snow border I change skis into bike, and next into water skis. Wonderful downhil it could be;).
Nevertheless beautiful snow-cover cone. I like it.

Bonjour Tan,
je suis stupéfait de voir cette montagne de sucre au dessus des nuages alors qu'en dessous, on se croirait plein tropique.
L'image est bien structurée, eau, terre, glace et ciel, dans de très belles couleurs.
Un POV qui montre bien comment se dresse ce pic enneigé.
Bien vu.
