Photographer’s Note

Herbert Lake is a small lake close to HWY 93 from Lake Louise to Jasper. As a typical lake in this area, the reflection of the mountain on the lake is always very attractive to visitors. The best time to visit this lake is in the morning.

Hi Naret, the water perfectly mirrors the mountain and the forest. The contrast and the colors are very clear. It is a well-composed picture. Well done.

Hi Naret,
A splendid landscape with a very quiet atmosphere enhanced by the importance left to the water in the composition. The natural mirror works best to deliver a splendid reflection. Nice colors and very clear photo.

A beautiful landscape. The water is like a mirror! I like the way that in the foreground you can see how clear the water is because the bottom of the lake is visible. The perspective is good - the trees on the right naturally draw the eye into the background towards the mountain.

Wow! You see, it is typical in Canada, but so incredibely special to me! What a beautiful place! Did you know that in Holland (where I live) we have no mountains at all! Hahaha! The only country without mountains...:S So pictures like this are always beautifull to me! Take care! Ramon
