International Women's Day:
In accordance with this, my today's upload is dedicated to all women the world over.

Mending nets in preparation for fishermen's next trip out to sea is a tedious but very necessary job for survival so their fishermen husbands could bring back more fish so they could have enough money to live on. From my observation, I guess she must have spent hours there but the way of life is in her blood just like many others fisherfolks in DounTaok fishing village, a few km from Kampot provincial town.

I would imagine this is a real skill and seems routine for years. Love the concentration as she goes about her repairing and the work place allow a glimpse into the conditions - a humble wooden house in which she toils away. My presence has somehow distracted her momentarily, but I always marvel at what is presented before my lens - the kind of humanity subject that I always love to shoot.

A suprising respond with a smile on her face when I pointed a camera,,,,
Just another side of life without all glitz and glamour

Women have strengths that amazes man.. she can handle trouble & carry heavy burdens, she holds happiness and love and she will always smile when she feels like screaming. You can get her love in the form of a sister, friend, beloved, wife, or in the form of a mother and also in the form of a grandmother.

So respect HER...
