Photographer's Note

Bacowka, hut (sa³asz) or kolba (koliba, kolyba) - usually a wooden pastoral building put up in shepherd's halls, where for a few months a year, at the time of grazing, there is a shepherd along with juhas. Bacówka is not only a shelter from bad weather, but also a place that serves shepherds to process sheep's milk for cheese (bundz), whey (zygote) or smoked oscypek cheese.
